EQUIPPING OF THOSE IN GOD'S SERVICE
Adapted From The Minor Ordination Rite Of The Armenian Church

In peace we ask the Lord. Receive, save and have mercy.

We ask you O benevolent God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for this servant who has come into your service, that his/her eyes may be opened to heavenly visions, for spiritual wisdom and that he may attain the sweetness of lights of heavenly bliss. O Lord our God, consider our reverence and guard Your servant -(name) - Establish him/her in the same service as the others, so that he may serve with purity in worship and service in Your Holy Church. Fill Your servant with all the graces and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

O Lord grant that Your servant may strengthen Your people by the reading of

Your laws to all who come to the Holy Church, that Your servant will be discreet in Your laws at all times and cause others to reverence them.

O benevolent Lord grant wisdom to your servant as exorcist, that he may be capable to expel the devil from men through in Your Name and with the power of the Holy Spirit and through that exorcism cause people to rejoice. May those who are delivered from evil cease from performing satanic deeds by the grace of the Father’s Only-begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Save us and have mercy.

O Lord Father most Holy and infinite God, give strength to Your servant - (name) - in this Office of Exorcist to which he is ordained, so that he may become strong in the utterance of his words in order to expel from people their unclean spirits, impure thoughts and deeds, and become a true healer and physician of Your Holy Church, by means of Your holy graces which you generously grant from Your heavenly gifts, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom is fitting all glory and praise with spiritual ecstasy, dominion and honor, now and at all times, for ever and ever.

O Lord, grant that Your servant may lay hands on the sick for healing, and for those who come for baptism to make them to renounce Satan and his kind, and thankfully glorify the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always for ever. Amen.
